You might be able to relate how trade 'leaders' usually strongly believe in placing stop losses. That line of thinking is kind of in line with recognizing a potential problem and having a mechanism in place to avoid an emergency.

Thank you ET.

Well a stop loss AND being stupidly stopped out by hungry sharks institutional stop hunters, OR NO stop and have enough leverage to buy back - AFTER THE STOP HUNT when price goes again in the direction of your buy trade - @ lower prices in a daily/weekly confirmed uptrend.

This only has a chance when you are in front of the screen and can monitor your trades directly.

Everybody falls into bad habits at some point. For example, one of my worst habits is trading from my phone. I believe your trade station is part of who you are and how you trade. Comfort, clear mind, familiarity, and other factors are at play when you're at your desktop.

On the phone I'm a lot more prone to make decisions I wouldn't otherwise make. To combat this, I have a small account that's trading very small lot sizes. Certain accounts I only access from my desktop. If I blow it up I refund it. It's not any significant amount of money.

I think I went off course here but I enjoy participating in your thread and always interested in your feedback.
