Right now, gold looks like a great long entry but since it's had such a big run already I don't feel comfortable about it. I'm thinking wait until SHFE opens up and see what Asia does. If they start buying up gold at the open, we could see another run up. The risk is that at any moment there could be a US-China trade deal announced and you probably don't want to be long at that time.

Gold right now is looking like it could go either way. We have ten more minutes until the SHFE open. Then, it'll take a direction or maybe just some volatility. It's hard to believe it won't retrace before moving higher, but it's been on a tear. The CME front month hit an all time high today. Heavy buy volume too. Gold is looking strong.

Gold right now is getting a major correction from our daily high. Currently 1516...., but went as low as 1506. Don't know if we'll get support around last Friday's lows, or if we are poised to retest the 1500 levels.

I would wait for this week before judging on any trend of GOLD.. since, I believe, we are in a "correction" week... Overall "picture" still looking for UP!
To me at least.

That move lower was and maybe still is fierce! We may not see much volatility tonight ahead of NFP. The markets generally trade in a narrow range absent of any breaking news triggers or calendar events with impact.

Gold looks like it's continuing to fall right now. I wouldn't try shorting around these levels. On a 4H, it's tough to make a case for going long:

Gold right now has reportedly seen the worst daily percentage decline in more than 2.5 years, down more than 2%. Could be due to stronger-than-expected U.S. economic data and hopes of a thaw in the U.S.-China trade war boosted Treasury yields and soothed fears of an economic slowdown, driving a shift back into riskier assets.

Gold right now has rallied since NFP. However, it is approaching 200MA in M15. I expect resistance and will be looking for selling opportunities around 1525.
