Gold is coming off it's lows right now but today has broken out of the range it's been stuck in and has made some new highs. It's tough to say whether we'll continue towards the 1500 level, but now that we've broken out from that range, it's looking like a possibility. Here's gold on a daily chart since the beginning of this year.

Either way, I doubt brokers have much influence on this raging market. They're probably holding on for dear life.

Maybe we have different lingo about this, but a sell-stop is below the market. Brokers would need to push the market down to get a sell stop.
