BACKTESTING EA at weekends
Unable to do this, as when the EA is loaded it comes up with initialising......................

but when the market is live then i am able to back test.
any way out how i can backtest at weekends

would anyone want to code an indicator that would...1. Take the 3xADR, and 2. create a rectangle of that size, and 3. place it on the chart? The user (me) could then move it to the high and the low to see where a reversal might likely occur. I trade using the Beat The Market Maker method and 3xADR is often a place (approximately) where we look for reversals. Effectively, this would cut out my need to calculate 3xADR, and create the rectangle of appropriate length. Maybe the settings could provide: color options, width options, ADR time period options (some like 14 day ADR's, some like 21, some like 5). Thank you for considering this project.

Hi Coders,

Would anyone be willing to create an indicator for a 3 bar candlestick setup? It needs the required criterias:-

1: bar 1 needs to be a bearish candlestick, down bar
2: bar 2 needs to be another bearish candlestick which closes lower, another down bar
3. bar 3 needs to be a bullish candlestick but the low must be lower than bar 2, and the close must be higher than the open of bar 2: the high of candle 3 is not important but the close cannot exceed bar 1's open
3. a push alert when the setup appears

I have attached the picture of the example.

Multiple time frame support for this indicator would be good as well. Just a thought since it'll save you time having to re-program that feature in later on.

ake as an example, this is a counselor written by me in 2009. If you correct it, then get what you need.

A little explanation .....
All old "Half Trend" indicators (mq4 file format) running around every where within wide wide net are repainting - except the newest one's by Mladen (provided only ex4 file format)
So guys try using reliable codes by reliable coders
in both pictures compared the old with new half trend indi with same parameters,almost overlaying/hiding each other but at some points you can judge the arrowing difference

Hello,

Thanks for the reply but i tried translating to english but did not understand a bit of the codes. Also, it is an EA but not an indicator. I do not need an EA, i just need a simple indicator that alerts every time a candle setup appears.
