CCI flagship play of the day on strong squeeze as pointed to be expected. As it has been pointed on thread many times, having a very good aligned expectations on what market is likely to do and how it will do that is about understanding the process behind what is currently happening on market, its usually not about specific price levels or areas or lines, underlaying process behind the structure is what has to be figured out, takes time and practice and the rest is what is explained here for trader to pick up.
A case for down trend behaviour change with shelf stacking is that in very strong down trends where sell pressure is very strong, buyers have two options to reverse the flows / trend, that is by either pushing heavy order in that breaks the liquidity ranks (unsustainable and likely leads to bear correction) or a better option is to swallow anything that bears throw over time and build slow accumulation, that way up trend can have at least short term sustaniable move forward.

Some statistic info on pullback leg rotation play after impulsive move. Those plays (along with many plays presented on thread) are played with rather strict rules on tight risk managment, using tight SL or at least partially scaling position out in chunks quickly if price goes against trader. As said on thread previously, trader should never handle risk managment or profit taking depending on what he finds confortable to stick with, those two processes HAVE TO BE related to statistical counts and overall behaviour of pattern, thats basically it, no room for discussion to be left there.
That means if pattern behaves with certain consistency that should be reflected in how trader handles the trade. It takes time and practice to adjust to it, but the first step for trader is to acknowledge that this is the way to go forward, and not to force his own management rules that go against patterns behaviour.

-15% of plays have DD that is bellow 50% of last high to low distance of leg.
-bellow 10% of plays have DD over 50% of last high to low distance on leg (usually equaling the whole distance of leg and bouncing from the low).

That statistic is what trader has to use in management, meaning that its pointless to use some large SLs on those plays, price should be responding straight on after entry.

Generally pullback leg rotation plays might be a bit more difficult to traders new to this pattern to spot, because it might be confusing in terms of what to seek for to spot or qualify pattern. There is a simple rule that trader should focus on his search approach as priority in order to fit correct structure for this play:
-first seek if on the current observed asset there is a strong impulsive momentum move
-if it is, then after that momentum move is structure fitting the required symmetrical behaviour (progressive lower highs)

Those are two main qualifiers and its import to really first focus on momentum part, that way the confusion will get removed. After that it becomes easy to spot them.

Emerging markets crisis under development, put in few charts. Cross contagion to emerge in next few years. 2014 used as starting marker of asymmetric war start between US and EMs.
Recipe that will unfold over next years:
-further rate hikes by FED, resulting in dollar shortage and T bill yield spike
-further rate hikes by most EM central banks, resulting in dollar shortage and liquidations (to counter FED hikes, and keep capital at base, but long term that cant work).
-trade wars, resulting in capital flight towards US
-liquidation events starting at weakest players (likely Argentina or Turkey) spreading to other EM players especially on bond and equity markets
-unability to keep up with the US yields even though the EM CBs hike rates, resulting in liquidations and negative GDP growth, putting stress on long term bond yields

Looking at the situation trough the eyes of what Trump does is completly pointless. This play is played on many levels higher and broader- FED, Rotschilds (derivate markets, Oil - SA), Oil supply, sanctions directed from three different organs of US goverment, .....
It is most likely the strongest liquidation event incoming since the WW2 or at least since first cold war if one focuses on Russia only, likely will take a while to play out. Being a resident of EM country, not understanding this play could lead to huge losses, a case of financial protection is rather clear and obvious as long as one doesnt have ideological faith in ones "powerful" goverment as many do.

GM long sold 2.5R gain. Sold gains a bit too quick, as on all previous shelf stacking attempts. A weakness to recongise and put aim in future to correct.
