USDTRY London is about to close, but the setup looks decent. Will consider it but playing it conservative as end of market might not deliver momentum.

Yeh probably shouldnt have taken the play, no point without momentum at wrong market time.

Stopped out, defenetly not the ask stack to trade, bid was too strong. Being in trade just to be in trade is never a good idea over long run.

Dear JP, one side question. since USD macro is bullish, is it advisable to trade H1 or M30 rotation(or continuation) setups, with a TP much larger than the regular M1 trades, but aiming at hundreds of pips. it seems doable for USDTRY, USDMXN, USDHKD .etc.

by the way, what's your insights on the best way to grasp the fundamental bias? i hope to become a trader like you who can trade fastest TF (like M1) on correct fundie bias. I have been following G7's central banks conferences, and a little COT reports, but still feel uncertain........

From the chart its clear:
1. The bottom TL is clean and symmetrical (price perfectly following it) compared to the upper TL which isnt so.
2. Look inside the pattern and prior it
a) bear candles and less in each leg and bigger and bolder the the bull ones
b) look at the lows prior the pattern. They are near to each other suggesting consumed demand around them
From point 2. structure its clear that the pattern is part of the retrace after the big drop. In fact it is part of bigger continuation pattern starting from the verybottom after the big drop

I hope it makes sense
