This was a momentum trade based on capital outflows and macro play and a direct non tech entry , that pattern has not yet been presented clearly in thread only mentioned briefly. I will update on that pattern / play in future. Basically in short it is a play where you add smaller sized positions and put BE SLs quickly or put a bit larger (normal) positions with using some nearby extremes as SL guide (which is how it was done on that example). This pattern and approach obviously needs more explanation so ill do that in future.

That indeed looks like as likely buy. Eyes on this one, dollar is still under strong flow pressure to upside along with emerging markets on symmetrically oposite direction. And a bit of safe haven JPY flows mixture thrown in between.

PVTL thing is that most investors complain that its impossible to tell which IPO will actually go up and which down becouse its all a random game. And we heard that saying before many many times in markets. One needs edge on micro of order flow to figure that out, no free lunch in markets, you need to dig deep to get reward.

USDJPY decent run, didnt get a chance for fill long on the lows.

Solid run of MXN downwards, MXN still on watchlist for tomorrow amids the twitter storm of US president and likely further price baking. Mainly wall and NAFTA talks, to be put on slight watchlist for next weeks as long as momentum is there.
On a counter note if any impeachment processes do get pushed forward that could very likely turn into best trading oportunities of last few years as MXN would emidently start re-pricing the whole thing north very very strongly. Best trading oportunities always come where reality has 180 degree turn and market has to reposition completely. It might or might not happen, key is to track the process, if anything significant pops up ill put a notice on thread, for now the focus is on down side for MXN.

NZDUSD if micro shelf holds potential upward move, but the liquidity is weak, counter quick moves can happen often in such occasions. Worthy try if one gets filled on lows of micro shelf though, otherwise a pass.

6,88 huge buyer getting filled, probably the same one as on 7,00ish before. Selling is going on, but it looks like some shark has interest to push that up.

7,26 and 7,29 if sellers absorbed its game over. If not its a south move. The fact is that absorption is taking place. Goes to yesterdays setup its strong player vs "strong" player.

CHEK alright this is where trader really digs a trench and gets right down into it. This is either going to result into brilliant short squeeze or a complete flop, no middle line in between. When spreads tighten at supply and price is no longer able to drop thats when one presses on the pedals and adds the chips in the pocket. 20 mins to go clock is ticking. Those are the 20 minutes that trader should really pay attention to.

CHEK sold at break even. That was hectic all the way into the market close, shorts did not panic.
Tomorrow? Yeh, betting on gap up or squeeze up is the way to go. Large buyer hasnt given up, but shorts will be forced to cover at least some. If there is no gap then CHEK is direct buy on market open.

To point it out as cleary as needed: CHEK on tomorrows watchlist for direct long play if there is no gap on market open. Potential heavy squeeze.

Just to put some objectivity into CHECK play, a trader can never be sure which side of market will gain upper hand, there is no guarantee. One can be preapared and ready but still even a high quality play might end as neutral result such as todays CHECK. 80-90% of A quality plays will result in great trades, but still one has to cut loses and not to take "all ins" if certain levels cant be taken out". Cutting loses along with following the correct order flow bias data is the only way to move forward. Practice and context. Alright....

Hi Janpec,

I may start waking up before work to give this strategy a go. If I traded from 6 A.M. - 8 A.M. C.T. (basically the two hours leading up to U.S. open ) and was trading the 28 main currency pairs as well as a 10 indices + gold + silver do you think it would be worth while? Would be hoping to get at least 3-4 trades per day.
