Nice work Janpec1000 and TRD....i must say i was really overwhelmed today,i as i missed quiet a lot of entry trying to check a lot of pairs,i am so reducing the no of pairs for now, i caught te U/CAD buy,in the morning and currently am in this U/j....

Reducing the number of instruments is the wrong way to go, this will only increase the amount of missed setups, that is a fact! If you are overwhelmed thats normal and it takes time to get used to it, but do not reduce number of instruments.

Thanks. Dont remove pairs. Different pairs give you different information about same currencies. When a currency is getting stronger, you start to get some setups in one direction across all of its crosses. That gives you information about the direction. Thats how i took the GU trade today without having very strong setup on it, but most of the GBP crosses printed nice setups. They just had bigger spread.
Add all markets possible. Indicies as well.

Update on 3 major plays of today. All three of them edging lower and lower. Heavy short squeezes or weak news / strong spikers with previous history of full corrections are top quallity plays becouse A they give naturally high RR setups and B giving continious short plays as the price keeps dropping lower. In 95% cases it will fully correct.
By default when market overreacts you want to be on the other side of that market, unless market knows something that you dont, and you better do research to find it out if thats the case.
Took trade on TENX on Tradezero broker, got no shares to short for some reason on fund, SLS didnt manage to pull any extra entry.

Baking the end of the day on solid gains TXN. Good quallity setup is all about fitting all the required variables of a takeout setup to have decent potential:
-momentum move into supply
-LL HH rotation (or strong HL prints)
-symmetric supply
-no overhead supply
-micro shelf clearly visible
-strong ticking on shelf
-clean squeeze no slow chop higher

On a side note well done so far TRD for picking some decent plays today, keep working on entry calibrations though.

Before i go, looks like this one got missed , GBP.
As said before...strongest and cleanest continuation setups always come in heavy impulsive markets that are often fundamentally or macro driven. Keep that in mind to have better consistency on continuation plays.

I found I need bigger SL because I usually go for higher R number than 1-2. That could be the reason that price has to come back deeper than the shelf, in order to go further in my direction. I learned to take 50% off at your TP level (after the initial push) and then let the price retrace. Why i start with bigger SL and reduce it as trade progresses? it generally depends on the structure. If structure is small in pips, then I start at bottom and move it slowly using 50% of structure and later below the micro shelf. Usually using the structure on the left. The problem is when the pattern is wide like the example we are discussing. The shelf is clear, but below there is fresh area. The quick move up created liquidity gap which was untested. That was the reason I was careful with the SL. Bigger moves are result of bigger retraces

i dont see any Jan setup here. Probably you have to read the thread few times first and understand the bottom rotation which was presented by Jan through many examples. Also use the list of rules which i created from his posts. I already went through the thread twice. Now starting my third read. I know its boring and trading is much more fun, but without understanding the foundation of the methods presented here, you will be trading something else, which wasn't proven to work.
