NXST soft rounding, looking for long , soft supply got taken out. 72,03 is key micro shelf to watch for risk control.

Still testing thoses setups with small positions alongside of my regular trading. I pulled the trigger only twice today but they both paid. I should have kept CADJPY for a couple more pips.

GBPCAD, looking for long on retrace. A bit asymmetric supply with loads of overhead supply thus B quallity setup which might have a lot of bumps on the way up.

Well done, clean, on CADJPY you could also long the clearout especially since it is clean structural support with quick clearout move.

Slow progression of higher lows after soft break, sold full size, always to be careful with 5 cent tickers to not overscale position size, if so emidently reduce the size on breakeven or small loss.

GBPCHF (GBP index) squeezing whole area supply, GCAD should follow.

CRM a bit asymmetric structure but a decent play, strong HL build and overall supply taken out, now the key to watch is if agressive bulls hold the micro shelf.

CRM exited in small loss, -0.3R, micro shelf was quickly retested on strong bear momentum and then taken out.

GBPCAD rotation completed followed along with GBPCHF as expected. Highlighted micro shelf as it held very well.

Bit of rotations up and down, heavy bulls gave up on micro shelf. Ill post some video in next days on how to observe price action live on key micro shelf and following agressive absorbers and when they give up to exit. Thats it for today, solid gains on equities and also FX.

Hi Janpec,

Do you pay any attention to .800 .000 .200 .500 numbers?

I have found big players use them a lot to build and off load positions.

Nope no numbers or random levels are used, if there is no orderflow behind level its useless as level, and if there is orderflow behind it chart will let you know by price formations and reactions, there is no need or use at all using pre-defined levels ahead, especially if they are old and not relevant to current order flow and structure of price. Focus always on what you see from price structure not what might or might not react around un-confirmed level. Significant moves in markets always come from squeeze of participants not the natural flow of orders at specific levels.
This thread is to teach people understand effective vs non effective price analysis, non effective PA analysis (using levels, indicators, methods, etc...) is when price behaves with poor statistical reliability around the expectations of trader and signfiicance of the move.
Making a quick statistical research about whole number levels and significant price moves at that area will very quickly let you know that it performs poorly statistically becouse there is no common orderflow process behind it, unless it overlaps to current key price structure.

AMGN finishing the rotation of trend with solid progression higher. Focusing on price structures with clean symmetry and consistent symmetrical behaviour and then being sharp on spotting the change in behavour is key to trading rotations. Whether its slow progressive move or squeeze usually thats where the change will happen.

Hi Janpec,

I agree, there has to be Order Flow present at these "numbers" for them to work.

Personally I do look for Order Flow at these Levels but as you say it's looking for the "Squeeze of Participants" where ever it occurs.

As I had mentioned a few days ago I also trade similar using the pullbacks in trend as well as 123 and 2b break pullback this also shows the order flow when supply or demand bar shows up

the market is fractal and is not random

the same thing happens very day on all charts and every week,,,on all time frames

the same pattern happens all the time

yes markets use price levels,,00,20,50,80 levels but thats not all

it seeks out liquidity to fullfill its orders and that liquidity comes by way of "retail traders"

if you know the secret of the market makers pattern its easy
