Right now, I'm taking a break from gold. Over the past 24 hours, I either had a great handle on gold and the market in general or was completely wrong. Don't get me started on the positive USD/Gold correlation after a torpedo hit an oil tanker.I'm not sure I've had many trading days like this one. Every time I made a bad trade, or series of bad trades, I was aggressive and lucky enough to make back the losses. Here's my equity curve from the past 24 hours. Right now I'm trying to solidify my spot on the demo throne by skimming a few ticks off this gold rally. If I decided to just preserve my capital until Friday night how would that be fun for anyone?

Right Now the USD is eating gold for lunch!
But as for now, it seems to go to that direction.... I think the next week will be determinal... but would extend it to 2-3, just to be "sure", before
putting some real (high-risk) trades "out there"
It depends how it will go next week, if all the indicators will be CLEAN, I might enter on the 3rd day... or wait for the whole week of stat...
Can you afford to take that chance?

I'm out now and even though my stop was placed to lock in 707 pips somehow "magically" I was filled at 690. 17 pips less. Trading futures that's a minimum trade target.
I'm wondering who is the bigger moron. Them for so casually disregarding their clients or me for continuing to give them my money and my business.
