This week is a big one for traders who hope for more clarity on the state of the bull market, as four out of seven companies in the ‘Magnificent 7’ are set to post quarterly earnings in the coming days. Meta Platforms, Microsoft and Tesla each report on Wednesday, and Apple will release results on Thursday.

Investors will use the upcoming Big Tech reports to gauge just how long artificial intelligence-powered market gains can continue.

Positive results could reignite confidence, while any disappointment could hurt the broader market, roughly 40% of which is accounted for by the Mag 7.

Outside of tech, investors can expect earnings from companies including Starbucks, Boeing, General Motors, Visa and Exxon in the upcoming week.

Markets pull back not done yet

Markets will go back up North as soon as the Q4 data is released and the US data this week is not to bad.

If (all) data is not (so) good markets could drop further into a (little) correction.

NQ dropped about 3% so far from Fridays high. A real correction starts at 7% or 8% if I remember well.
SnP down about 2% so far.
DOW down about 1.25% so far
DAX dropped about 1.5% so far

No panic. So far it looks just a pull back/profit taking ahead of a lot of news this week.
If the US data is good there are great trade opportunities to the North again. Possible targets are rather clear.

US markets had 5/6 positive weeks till Friday. Now time to cool down and take a breather.
