Hello fellows, I am starting this thread to discuss gold trading. I will post here all my setups for gold. You are welcome, be my guest!

My first public planned trade on this thread.

In my view the price will go down and test 1265 support area, then will retrace to 1267/8 area near to the downtrend line.

I will follow the market and open manually or may set a sell limit there during next week.

But of course everything will depend of how it will open next week.

I am planning to short around to 1267/8 TP 1252 SL 1270

It seems that trendline got broken to upside, I wont short today, will re-evaluate tomorrow to find another possible trade. good night

MACD < 0 and a cross from stochastic gave me the signal, lets wait and see now.
Shorted today @ 1267.89 SL 1271

edit: Closed +20pips, it could be almost 40 pips, but when it retraced I closed.

Opened a short on gold yesterday and it went good, took profit today when woke up.
Short again @1252.46 sl 1257.05 tp 1230 if I have the patience to hold till there, lol

Out of the position, closed manually with 2% loss, US news didnt help.

This up move from the last two days may change the bias on gold, but atm I dont want to short neither buy gold, will only look for long if the price closes above 1260 where is EMA20, And to look again for shorts will wait for at least another bearish daily candle, so, by now, I will stay flat on gold.
