i used this and this is waste. just adjusting like repainting... so i removed this... what it is showing means if u watch fully then can understand .. after 5th bar it came at 5 bars before.. so utter waste it is

Hi Ramzam,

As far as i know it doesn't repints but yes as u said it will appear after 4th or 5th bar, this is what the creator of this system stated in the pdf included in that system.

Dear all,
I am trying to add arrow on 15m chart when certain MA cross occurs. But when I change timeframe and come back to 15m TF, arrow disappears. I want all arrows on chart to be retained. Can somebody pls. suggest fix for this. TIA.

Pertinent code:

Thanks for offering help. I'll share a part of my trading system with you and if possible i would like to have an indicator showing my buy/sell signals.
First part of my trading system includes mobving averages. Here are the values, 5 EMA (close), 8 SMA (close), 21 EMA (close), 55 EMA (close) and 200 EMA (close).
My signals are these; 1. when 21 EMA is over 55 EMA; buy when 5 EMA crosses up 8 SMA, 2. when 21 EMA is under 55 EMA; sell when 5 EMA crosses down 8 SMA.
If we can also make colour change for the MA cross over. Say when 5 EMA (close), 8 SMA (close) above change to blue and below change to red, same for , 21 EMA (close), 55 EMA (close).

Can anyone modify this EA so that it takes trades based on the CLOSE of the CCI bar and not the current CCI Bar?

The EA should be taking trades based on the indicator indicated in the picture but it opens and closes trades as the CCI bar changes. Meaning it takes a trade if the bar changes color within the time frame, not after it closes. Ex below: The EA made a buy order because the signal changed to green but the cci bar changed to red within the time frame. The EA should have waited for the bar to close before taking the signal. The backtests look promising with the right settings however it needs to wait for the CCI bar to close before taking trades. Would appreciate this help.

Can you think of any reason why this script would suddenly start making MT4 crash any time it is run?

Cannot figure out why - your views would be graetly appreciated.

With MT4 anything's possible.
I just checked it on my Oanda platform build 920 and works flawlessly.

Try deleting the file and re-download from the forum.

All MTF's repaint if plotting lines from a higher timeframe onto lower time frames, so they are virtually useless.

Hi,

Is there an EA like this:
Buy if price 10 pips above yesterdays daily, tp 10 sl 10
Sell if price 10 pips below yesterdays. tp & sl same as above.
If first action profit, cancel second. If first is loss, keep second.
