Hello coders I posted this late last night, does anyone who codes thinks it's achievable thanks, Detector, I've added an alarm in too for confirmation, 
Hello coders, would it be possible to code an EA that uses a moving average to open a position when the price touches it, basically, for a long, price would be higher than the MA then a retrace hitting the MA would open the position, same would be true for short position but price below and retraces back.
For all MA's to be used,
Period
Sleep (so multiple positions cannot be taken in one direction)
Lots
Alarm
In general the EA would be inactive (auto trading off) until the user identified a forming trend, at this point auto trading would be switched on.
This method would be similar to the "pinball strategy" that I think Linda Radford (think I'm right) mentions in "market wizards", someone may correct me, so would it be possible, thanks Detector

-last candle close above MA and the currecnt candle go below BUY
-last candle go below MA but close above BUY
Any TP or SL?
I have an idea about that "auto trading on/off". Attach the EA to the chart when it's trending and remove when you don't want it to trade.

Next buy signal may be a little confusing, the big green candle hits the MA then closes above, assuming it did hit then the close of this candle would trigger a buy.
Next trigger is a sell (2 instances) first green candle hits the MA and closes below, followed by another after the red candle.
If it helps and its understood
if open>ma and low =<ma and close> ma (buy)
if open<ma and high =>ma and close < ma (sell)
