Sir please you are trying to help me understand how this works but am a total novice to this, i am trying to get the physical representation to get the sense of it
if i understand correctly it means that when price cross MA from down to up can be counted as +1 up, and if price from up to down count as -1 down?
or is it the gap distance from the MA that is counted?

Hey, I am looking for someone to code a simple moving average indicator for mt4.

Formula: (sma200 + sma100 + sma50 + sma24 + sma9 + sma5) / 6

Hi Samalin . It calculate distance in pip or point from MA to Price. You can use Crosshair for measure distance and compair. I explain in picture .

Hi vinscal I don't have this dashboard. For you I am testing this and I think it good result. I adapt from zigzag . It have zigzag , fractal line , kill zone
and holo 30 from post 52,181 . I think you will like this. you don't change indicator name.

Made it a while back, on chart buttons to make short trendlines that stay horizontal or vertical, you can still style them and move them freely.

I really appreciate you taking the time to look at my request.

I had a look at your indicator. I was hoping for something more simple.
At the moment your indicator has 2 choices: whether to have a Panel on the side - which takes up chart space; or have no panel, but have a constant horizontal line present on the chart (which again can be confusing with many other lines you may have on your chart. Also i noticed that the line that the pre-selected line that is present on the chart does not have the "magnet" function that the trendlines usually do, when they are placed next to the candle high/low and they automatically get attracted and set to that high/low price.

The "Make it Horizontal" indicator that was previously available on the marketplace was quite simple. Use your normal trendline tool to draw a line that you want (Step 1 in pic) and then press the hotkey (in this case it was "h") and the line goes straight (Step 2 in pic). This just makes things so easier and flow is quick.
Also i am assuming the code does not have any other stuff, so its not resource heavy, when taking into consideration i have a few charts running and they all have a few indicators on them.

Is such an indicator possible?

Not sure if this is the right place or not but I’ve been reading a different thread where a trader uses a different platform and I want to replicate it on mt4 or mt5. One trader in that forum came close but I am a noob and can’t seem to get it to work. The screenshot attached shows what I am hoping to achieve. They have Renko bars (5 pips) but then heiken ashi showing based on the renko bars and an EMA channel (8 period high, 8 period low) that also is based on the renko or heiken ashi…I’m not sure. I found a renko bar indicator but when I add the heiken ashi or EMA, they seem to base their data on the original price bars. How do I get them to follow the renko? Appreciate any help

- were you able to move both ends of the tline and it will use the price of the end you moved? or could you only move one end?
- did it apply to all tlines that are selected or only what you've just moved?

Hi Guys
Currently i run a EA that will apply Martingale layer as below (ex4 file)
- First order 0.01
- Second order 0.02
- Third order 0.03
- Fourth order 0.05

The martingale will be triggered when the trade is floating loss. There is no additional setting on the EA to stop martingale layer.

Can anyone create another EA, so that it stop the EA create third order (0.03) and above? Meaning the EA can only create 0.01 and 0.02 at most.

Is this possible? Thanks
