Please can somebody make this indicator to work? It simply refuses to load on chart, maybe some sort of coding errors. your assistance will be highly appreciated.

Good day everyone . please I need help with an indicator that counts the number of bull candles, bear candles and doji candles, in the last 24 candles
and draw them as lines in a seperate indicator window in percentage. i.e for example. if bull candle=12 and bear=11 and doji=1,
bull percentage = (12/24)*100, same for the rest please.
I need it to help me in determining what I call the "candle trend". depending on which is in majority relative to Trend direction. Thanks in advance

The reason that it not working, might be due to that the offline charts were generated by an EA!
If so, then try to use it on an offline chart that is generated by an indicator instead!

The attached Market Profile Indicator, the VA Lines 70 value, can you add me a 10% less value line also please ?
Line can be same colour as VA lines, and dash, if line options for it is an issue

Formula for new 10% line :

VAH price minus VAL price = a value.
Take 10% of this value, subtract form the value, that is the "dash line" price
I refer to this price range that is less than Value area range as " CORE PRICE"

Example :

VAH = 100
VAL = 0
90% = 90
100-90 = 10
Thus :
Core Price High (CPH) = 90
Core Price Low (CPL) = 10
Need a dash line for CPH & CPL PLEASE

Hi,

I have a on balance volume indicator as histogram that when is above the moving average is blue and when below red.

But I have a problem is different as if you place on the chart the obv and apply to it the moving average (please see attached picture). You can see on it whn the obv is not even close to the moving average but the histogram indicator turns blue

I have check the formula and I dont see the problem so if anyone could help I really appreciated

Can someone please make this indicator MTF and add alerts to buy/sell on the zones? it is a very useful indicator to find trending movements, I tried the mtf version on mt5 and it works very well to clearly see price action on the higher timeframes, Iīd really appreciate your assitance. (I donīt use the mt5 one because I already have a working system on mt4)

Your code always calculates for the most recent 23 candles, that's why the past is not showing on the chart.

And you are only assigning value to index 0 of these arrays, the rest of the arrays are empty.

I won't be helping you to edit your code, do try to modify yourself or hope someone else will help you fix it. But one word of advice, try to be clearer on your specifications next time because at first you mentioned you wanted an indicator that counts the number of bull, bear, doji candles, but later your specifications becomes calculating volume instead, maybe the rest are confused by what you really want.

hey man @eess thanks for your reply. perhaps I should have been more specific. if you can help, please help, I'm still a rookie programmer and help from veteran professional programmers like you will be rally appreciated . hopefully some day soon I too could help others make their trading easier by assisting them in coding the tools they require.

yes it calculates for the most recent 23 because that's the defined period i.e. I need it to calculate for every 24 period in the number of bars available on the chart. sort of like a moving average. it should calculate it from the the first 24 to the last 24. also I've assigned value [i] to the index but with no difference. that's what I've spent the past 4 days trying to figure out but to no avail yet. so please if you can @eess I kindly request that you do help. and to and other programmer out there please I request your indulgence once again.

thanks man just had a look at the code in the indicator you posted and well I couldn't find much help in it perhaps am no looking rightly but thanks for the effort perhaps you can look at it again by night.

Please is it possible to make an indicator that can spot such divergence on chart? this type of divergence once created is on all timeframes
i have searched all internet and twerk all divergence indicators i can find but none of them can give good signal on the attached screenshot type of divergence when created on chart

Hi

I have a request for 2 simple trades that have to happen when I am not always available and therefore miss out on potential profitable trades.

Herewith the strategy please ask if you need further info:

Description of EA for two types of trade
Recognises the opening price of a candle at a specified time
or Recognises the high and low of the day up to a specified time
Procedure
Prepares to place a trade x number of pips to buy above or sell below the opening price
or buy above the high or sell below the low of the day.
Trade volume can be fixed or % of account per SL
TP is x pips
SL is x pips
Both trades may happen
Allow for trailing stop
Allow for BE+
Must have magic number
Manages the trade, so no SL & TP shown when trade is triggered until reached
There may even be an EA out there that can already do this, just can't find it
