Hi! Is that possible to make this trade manager EA so it can run in backtesting? I mean to use it for manual trading in backtesting mode?

DislikedHi All, One problem with the standard TMA line is that it interpolates the price action and thus any alerts are prone to repainting as the line moves/adjusts to future price action. However, the TrueTMA line does not interpolate so I am keen to use it with an alert. Therefore, can anyone add an alert to the TMAtrue.mq4 indicator similar to the one that is on the TMA+CG Fixed indicator i.e. alert on the 1st opposite bar once the outer band has been crossed thx in advance Roger {file} {file}Ignored
DislikedHi, i have a strategy that i have trade for one month manually at real account , the result is quite good, as attached, if anyone interested code an EA for this strategy? pls pm me for details {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} You are confusing a couple of things : - standard TMA does not recalculate - centered TMA does - interpolation has nothing to do with centered TMA recalculation - extrapolation of the missing data (after the centering shift is performed) does the recalculation - "TMA true" is equal to LWMA (Linear Weighted Moving Average) - which is one of the standard built in average types Simply use some of the many average indicators that includes LWMA already and that is doing what you needIgnored
DislikedPips are not calculating correctly Ihave an indicator that detects all trading activity on my account and then sends an email. I have an issue though in that when i close the positions the pips are not calculated correctly. This is the line on my MQL5 script that calculates the pips. string pips = StringFormat("%s%.0f pips %s", dealProfit >= 0 ? "+" : "-", (MathAbs(dealPrice - orderPriceOpen) /_Point), dealProfit >= 0 ? "profit" : "loss" ); In the message it gives a pip count of 491 pips where it should read either just 49 pips or 49,1 pips Message...Ignored
