I do not think it was a lie. The original plan was to bomb the country to smithereens and forcefully seize their oil/Kharg Island, which meant that Iran would have been cut off from all sources of income and have all their major infrastructure bombed out. They panicked and rushed to draft an agreement to pause Trump's planned action. That's how come the new agreement where they hsve now agreed in principle many of the talking points subject to further discussions.

So, the institutions selling now still believe a full war will break out even after negotiations. They know what we don't know. But they can also be wrong. They have been wrong many times in the past.

If it practically does not go down and starts to go up, the truth is that I have another option that takes the price to 4595/600 and from there to 4070. It is not easy to square what is out of balance but as long as I catch the trend I am doing well.

Gold has bounced a bit from the low around 4167, but I’m not sure I’d call this a real reversal yet.
The chart looks like it’s trying to recover, but it still feels heavy to me. Maybe buyers are stepping in, or maybe it’s just a small relief bounce after the drop. Gold loves acting dramatic for no reason, so I’m trying not to trust one move too quickly.
How are you guys reading XAU/USD here?

If it holds, from 169/155 zone the target should be 4259, told at the beguining of the day, that i accept a wick 1st there.

EDIT: Breaking it can trigger 4117 fight again because to me is weekly closing fight, or over yesterday or another push down today is by that reason, We didn't shift yet... No close/open manipulated at daily yet...

I think the market was overextended and needed every excuse to get some relief. Based on my principle, I can't go short until 4173 has a full 1 hour candle below and even at that it wiuld be close to deviation levels which I would not chase. Interesting day so I may stay out.
