MetaTrader works officially only on Windows.
On macOS it won’t run natively, so it’s normal that it doesn’t open on your MacBook Air.

I’m running MT on a Linux‑based system (Steam Deck) and the only way to make it work is by using a Windows‑simulation tool.
You’ll need the same approach on macOS:
install a Windows compatibility layer like Wine or any similar app, then run MT4/5 through it.

That’s the only practical solution for Mac users right now.

Update:
No clean setups on the 5‑minute chart today from pre‑NY until now.
Price kept breaking levels without giving any proper entries, and after London closed we finally saw a big sweep.
The market was clearly clearing liquidity ahead of tomorrow’s CPI.
I’m done for the day with no trades.

I have to admit, in the bundle - gold, oil, dollar.. Gold is the weak link, at the moment.. And oil is not going to fall in price in the near future.. ( They would give me to climb to 5300, and from there I would already stand in sales.. )
