Should we trade Spot Gold or Futures?

I want to day trade Gold, should I choose Futures or Spot? what's the reason behind it?

We the traders are doing mainly spot trading; because it’s simple!

What Is the difference between both? I've heard about the comparison on Futures and options but not Spot. Can anyone please explain?

A commodity's spot price is the current cash cost for immediate purchase and delivery.

The futures price secures the cost of a commodity that will be delivered at a point other than the present, typically months later.
