Expecting hawkish Powell saying they are still not done, rather, are actually behind which would be true if he said that. Inflation will again get out of control probably with oil prices rising and soon being over 100 unfortunately. Not looking good. Core still more than double the target. Fed should be nowhere near done pausing yet.

As long as employment is good (on paper), Fed has no excuse pausing with rate hikes now with inflation running wild still.

How long will it take for the market to realize inflation is not going away for the time being? This should all be good for Gold. Gold is still at all time highs despite Fed raising rates to 5.50%. Something tells me Gold won't be dropping much lower than this. Maybe, maybe it closes the gap and that's it if we're lucky!

We'll see...

Everyone expects that nice gap to be closed before we break upwards, although on higher timeframe it is very plausible, but I'd liek to see how it plays out, maybe one massive liquidity grab on the day, then that will be a huge bullish reversal signal if we get a 100 or more pip-wick to the bottom on the daily

when i look at the chart again. 1885 seems so impossible, that 2000 might even be possible now.

if i do the math correctly. it did the correction by driving up and take liquidity at 1954 to drive down to 1901.
that was the liquidity needed to drive down. and then now it changes the character.

so technically for price to drive down back, it needs to tap back liquidity up
which is possibly....
