Holding. TP is the same, looks like USD dumping has stopped at least for the Tokyo session. Expecting price to break 50 pre-London will close manually and re-enter if conditions are met.

No data today so expecting DXY to advance much as possible before the big hitters come out this week. Expecting gold to break Friday's low today maybe post NY opening.

So going to test 1952, may little low and if breakout continues then target below 1947.80 but may by 2 legs down from over 1960! So pa grossly may be 52 to 60 to 47 down to bottom test. take care.

Can anyone explain this... 'Actual' greater than 'Forecast' is good for base metals; ?? what this means.. If chinese PMI is stronger means.. does gold value goes bull or bear.. little confused here.. seems like price trying to go below 1949 pivot.. want to make sure we are in bearish trend

It means if the actual value after news out is more than the forecast for any particular currency than that will be good for that particular currency. But I have notice during trading Gold that High Impact News of Dollar directly impact the Gold not other currency's news either that is a High impact.If other currency news is positive for that currency and negative/positive for Dollar than it will left more impact on Dollar negatively/positively only but there will be not any impact or a very little impact on gold only in rare cases.Trade safe

Sigh. It's literally what it says. Actual is greater than forecast = bullish for the particular metal/currency

It applies most, if its usd news. If it cad or asian. Doesnt applies much. There a a lot of fundamentals traders lurking.

So u dont have to worry about fundamentals today. Its purely based on technical today. But looking at uSD index. There might be a qm buy position. I say there might be. I dont know if it might caused a liquidity sweep on usd index

just open charts previously marked ! 1948 below price likely to send bull legs again and again . looks not so matured till 04/08 still may subject to change and bull restart any day of just fake out at extremes ok! take care

POV - Choppy today, with some decent discount around last weeks bullish impulse gap up (still not filled) A short term close under the fibo 50 would seal that deal lower
A clean close above it = Topside
