It's an imbalance in price.
So price must/will retrace back before continuing Its direction.

i made a post about the measured target bein 3900 yesterday...well here a chart with trump added to the mix....price may overshoot that 3900 by 20 or 40 or even 50 dollars so dont go shorting the 3900 round number

the main reason gold is flying skyward is because of his dumb economic moves to depress the dollar which hes said he'll do in public

you can look at the dollar chart the day of his inauguration LOL

if i had to bet my life on a guess id say gold will keep goin up for the next 3 years unless he drops dead from those swollen ankles before then

my next post will be about the last trump shutdown

this is what happened to gold during trumps last shutdown in dec 22 2018 to jan 25th 2019

so if the government shutsdown and your short gold you may become roadkill cause then gold may go way past 4000 if its another 4 week shutdown

I personally notice a lot of FVG price inductions without inductions; the FVG is mostly irrelevant to me.

I pay close attention to price inductions on sales, and this one perfectly matched 50% of the FVG. I was at work and ended up taking a small position. The significant pullback made me think of a time when the market had reversed. I had already closed the position before this induction occurred; after the induction, it retested exactly 50% of the FVG.

INDUCTIONS = Yet another term that I am not familiar with; where did you learn about this?

Might as well be like that other guy, "short 20 lots" means nothing, adds nothing, possible ego stroking for him!

I found this; would you agree it conforms to your use of FVG?

Reference your comment about FVG holding the high, is the red shaded area which you speak of as the high FVG?

To me that looks more like a supply and demand area, or support and resistance, which is often drawn like that.

Yes, I agree that it can appear in a support or resistance too, also known as the last bullish candle before the bearish one and vice versa, see this example, it's exactly that, usually it sets the support after a BOS, or safe support to set a stop loss, safe ignore the buys at the top, it's a trading bot in testing...

Number of times a FVG appears
Number of times a FVG get filled in GOLD/Indices
Number of times FVG left hanging due to intact internal structure

FVG works best in currencies, but in GOLD/SPX chart speak for themselves.

I have traded ICT for 1 year. Goddamn watched his YouTube playlists for 3 months without taking trades, did everything he asked for, but that shit doesn't work. It is the same as if 100 people try something, an anomaly will get lucky and be a profitable trader. I guess I wasn't lucky, but I don't think ICT concepts work otherwise we would have had millions of profitable traders just from his concepts as he has almost 2M subscribers.
