i am still confuse about increacing the number of trades everyday but keeping them short or getting into fewer trades and getting big targets ...really confuse ngl

Still wanna see yesterday levels, but market against bears, cause cut rates and political situation, all wanna have gold as safe harbor, if price go higher I will close my positions

If you're winning most your trades there's no such thing as overtrading. If you were losing and doing the same amount of trades then its a cause for concern. Just keep up the good work when the losses occur try tone it back alittle. Especially because you have just started your account you can take more risk. When you are to accumulate a big account then maybe start toning back and taking your time with it.

It depends on what you are ultimately comfortable with, risk & stop loss should be set on what you are comfortable losing. A good rule is if you're going counter trend or a trade you think has more risk than normal, half your normal lot size.

Most advice is 2-3 trades per trading session, max 4-5 trades a day but this comes from commission / spreads. (A broker wants you to trade little and often) and more than 4 trades, you're likely overtrading. But if you're scalping you will be doing way more than this.

Track your win rate, is best advice I can give. You will start to spot a pattern, most of my losses are Europe session and on a Wednesday. So, I generally skip Europe. Think of the way a session begins, first hour is the manipulation / liquidy sweeps / first hour candle close and 4 hour candle after an open, the trading volume starts to come in. This is when ideally you should be trading, then its lunch and afternoon sessions don't generally do much, so it works out about 2-3 a day, unless you're taking small pips.

These are my rules

2 losses in row, I stop trading session
3 losses I stop for the day
5% capital loss I stop for the day
10% capital gain, I stop
20% equity gain, I close the trade
200 pips win for the day, I stop

My targets are with the fib tool
Buy , 1st take profit is partial at 100%
2 take profit is the remaining quantity at 150%

Sell, 1st TP at 100%
full quantity at 125%

I don't set a max number of trades per day or week

That’s a solid mindset. Totally agree — if your win rate is high and you're sticking to a plan, it's not really overtrading. The key is knowing when to push and when to slow down. Risk management becomes even more crucial as the account grows. Thanks for the reminder — good discipline early on sets the tone for long-term success.
