The Federal Reserve is expected to hold interest rates steady at 4.25%-4.5% during its upcoming meeting. Markets are closely watching Chair Jerome Powell for any signals on future policy, given heightened uncertainty from President Trump’s tariff policies and market volatility. Highly doubtful we get a rate cut today or even until the end of year, feds are doing their job, labor market is tight, inflation is getting close to targets again.

JP can't do nothing about the political uncertainty that surrounds him but otherwise the feds have done their best so far imo, they'll ask him some questions about geopolitics and DT which he will tactfully judge. I don't expect much volatility from the news today tbh unless some leftie throws a curveball.

Only thing that can and will gold down is geo-politics, DT makes a claim for Russia-Ukraine to calm down gold bleeds, Oval office shenanigans we back up here again, Middle east stir things up again we break 3k and sit here like it's nobody's business.

I'd be concerned if I was trading fx pairs though though but not gold

When an instrument is making new highs and there are no levels above to look for a potential turning point, it's hard to guess, but if I had to previous peak was at 2956 at 3056 it would be 1000 pips so maybe...

How can people be so naive and quick to judge someone without knowing anything about their background? Just so you know, Terry has been helping people for years, hosting free webinars for hundreds, teaching trading, and sharing his knowledge with no strings attached. Before pointing fingers, maybe they should take a moment to actually learn the facts.

Yh bro you’re correct , I have several accounts …. one in my local currency, and one in usd …. I just used one of them to give him an explanation, that his idea of how trading works is wrong ! ….. I used the dollar sign , but I was talking about the percentage %….. almost 100% is being made on that account !

so yeah it’s possible to be profitable
