Let this be a positive learning lesson for you that while technical reversals do happen, they happen at a different time and in a completely different matter to what you described.

Take a look to the left on minimum 15M and above, and then come back.

My projection puts it at minimum 2906 before any "sells" but if your MM is on point you can start shorting right away I suppose

do you think a reversal can happen? Maybe we will get peace between Russia and Ukraine in next days… numbers like 2400-2500 is what i want again.

If he was on shorts last Friday, then now he probably busy cleaning up his lost. They will return when something make gold suddenly drop and say that is expected. So just spare him.

Honest to god, no idea, best is to trade PA as you see it on the charts with the higher TF bias somewhere in the back of your mind. Can't predict what will happen with fundies, just gotta price em in when it happens that's the best we can do as retail traders

Again, that was not a technical drop. You guys should learn reading charts with context of what actually happened in that moment other than pinbars (which are super unreliable on anything smaller than daily tf anyway). This up move negating trumps bs was expected and asia didnt wait even a second to reverse it.

This is my opinion: there is no break of support to start selling. Buyers also are taking the risk to buy every small retracement, it is in their favor because we are in bullish trend. I stand to be corrected.

Can't believe that Gold crossed over 2900 on Monday. 2 month break many ATH. Its a sign for buyer this week and waiting for 3000 this month

Agreed, but we could also note that the Engulfing sell never broke the H4 bullish trendline.

goldie 2900!!!! macroeconomics never fails. well done to those who understand that fundamentally gold can’t go down that much. and technically cannot go down that much as some say here. golds worse news so far only made gold drop 300 pips over a few hours and recovered next day. (china stopped buying gold) now since december central banks buying more and china buying again. also war and population gdp money in the world…everything priced higher but maybe not valued the same.

like 100k at 8% inflation means 100k next year is technically same as 92k last year. so even though prices say 2900 it could just be same value as gold at 1650 someone can explain this better than me. im
not great at teaching. or preaching
