I think this is the trade to go, i believe gold has hit its peak for now. The primary driving factor for the ramp up today seems to be that the 10 year yields are declining significantly due the fear still ongoing, i mean its only been a week since the collapse of the SVB. And also one key news item coming out that one of the SVB arm has filed for bankruptcy (i mean duh) but i feel that the market is really sensitive to any bank banking news.

I believe that the Americans would do anything to ensure stablity, i mean just look at yesterday at the package given to first republic.

There is also a chance that there will be 25bps rate rise coming, meaning that gold would be less attractive to bonds, and if bonds yields goes up it in theory should mean that the gold pricing should decline

Also, its worth noting that the swaps on shorts for gold is a nice bonus as well. in it for the medium term here i think
