Morning all.. that was one hell of a brutal drop overnight. Account still in play (just about) still long although I might cut losses if we drop below 2650. Couldn’t see any data for the drop so I assume it’s more geopolitical than anything else. Let’s see the week goes

Yes. My money does become the liquidity which effectively makes me the liquidity provider. And there is such a thing a thing a timing the market as this puts me in a better position to be a liquidity grabber.

While I'm not a huge user of the Fib, it does seems to be reacting to its levels. Will it go to 38.2 though?

I really try to avoid having much in play during the Asian Monday session, I tend to try to go into the weekend flat.

I still believe you took the correct decision: you anticipated a big loss and went for the short pain.
IMO, your mindset was top notch.
Unfortunately, this time the market went against your decision.
But next time the same attitude will prevent you from big losses.

the way I see it we are at a resistance area of 2670. Can’t seem to catch a break above it. If we do then 2680-2700 is back in play.

I can see us hitting around 2640, but I'm not sure if it will be today given the distance already covered. A move up to around 2680 would be nice before a move down if it continues down.

There needs to be enough movement in either directions for other to feel comfortable jumping in to ride the momentum.

I Think A Little Bit Differently On This Subject. I Think This Was A Good Lesson For Him. Lesson Was, If You Have Made Your Analysis And You Thought About It For A While And Then Executed It, Then Leave It Alone. The Worst Thing That Could Have Happened For Him Was That He Was Right And The Price Went Higher, Because That Would Give Him More Confidence The Next Time To Interfer In His Trades And Micromanage The Trade Which Is Never A Good Idea (Not Usually, Never).

Closed my longs. Didn't want to risk a sudden fall at 2675. 25% profit.

That was 2 positions, plus a 3rd that I closed at 2666.5
