Daily Timeframe
We need to see that last resistance at 1728 is going to turn into support or bears have full control and price drop to 1695 and then next target is 1630.

On Daily a double bottom is being worked out for a target 1838 (50% Fib). The RSI convergence also for continued growth.

You might be right. But all I can see is textbook head and shoulder pattern with retest for a continuation downward. If it breaks the current support right now we can see a big drop in my opinion.

PS. I see a lot of imbalances

Indeed! It might be fear and confusion, as it seems Gold can still go anyway, all depending on US Durable Goods data as well as the FOMC minutes of tonight! I myself am being careful, and interested to see when XAUUSD will finally reach its bottom, albeit Q123...
I guess the bears are not so willing to drive the price towards deeper levels.

The fact that the price already touched the Trendline 3 times but failed to move further is a symptom that bulls have the potential to break the trendline and move towards the Daily Rang, which is around 1759s.

Personally, for now, I am just monitoring the candles and waiting for a good opportunity.

But I am still waiting for 1725, 1712 and 1702. I think these numbers should be seen to go up.

Everything was serving in the favour of the bears until this morning. But, the last a few 4H candles messed up the picture. Maybe it is just the "noise" in the market. Who knows? And the violation of the trendline is definitely a negative thing for the bears. If they were strong enough, 3rd touch would trigger a drop. But it did not.

At the same time, the Economic Calendar is full of important data today. So, it is maybe normal to have a cloudy day in the market.

Time will show everything!
