yes buddy that what i want to hear if some one is doing wrong or newbie i this paltform so i must told that dont trade on gold if u have big account, now i m agree with Techknow buddy so hear it what he say. And friends please if you want to earn big amount then learn big for your dream learn from every one, every strategy then apply which one is work with high probability and use it with a perfect plan and now boom you will earn however what small is your account simple..

Okay since the chat has gone on growing a small account into larger ones, let me tell you, it is possible, but it is extremely difficult for a Novice trader or a trader who does not have a proper strategy. To overcome the difficult aspect, one needs risk management and micro lot sizes and a lot of training in place. What kills is Over Confidence and it starts with a focus around $$ and not the setup, and that is where the problem lies. One should focus on the trade and trade setup not the Amount of Gain.. if your trade is right, the setup is right and your EP is well managed and your SL placed correctly, one should be good. The key is to focus on the trade not the $ value, yet many don't.. and with GOLD, you are talking about Extreme Volatility where Big Institutions are involved. See Last Friday and Today's PA are such examples.. and today the market Gapped up during opening, drops 438 Pips and went around 632 pips .. a recover of around 2.65% from the last drop .. many traders fall in to the trap that gold will continue to fall but it moved away .. Good Traders always cut their losses, but great traders Switch directions. if the market is bearish and gives you a rebound of 632 pips, why one would not take it .. i really wonder !

I am posting a video of a guy I personally know who has turned $500 to a million, did not trade Gold, rather crypto, but the question is can you convert a small $500 account to a million ? yes you very well can .. Watch him do it live and teach people.. it is possible but requires discipline, strategy, risk management, pattern recognition and patience . .. no offense to the community on promoting crypto in a gold forum .. its just on the subject of growing a small account.. war news is fully priced in and in the gold price now at 2384. If I dont see any war news in next 24-48 hrs a possible sell opportunity is coming

HI guys, I'm new over here and about a month into trading. I can testify that it is possible to grow your account from a small balance. I initially started with a deposit of R300, that is roughly 13USD. I was very cautious, I had the lowest possible lot sizes 0.01 and made it a goal to at least make 100USD a week.

I grew my account from 13USD to 3100USD, I implemented gradual increase of lot sizes as the weeks went on. But because gold had picked up so crazy the last couple of weeks I managed to take bigger risks and ended up gaining a lot.

However, last week Friday threw a spanner in the works for me. I was completely shook. I am inexperienced when it comes to trading around news events. I lost all my money I worked so hard for within minutes. Yesterday (Monday) just added more flames. I am now having to rebuild my account back up from around 50USD.

So many lessons I am learning. Trading is actually showing me how unconscious and impulsive I can be and how I do not make conscious and calculated decisions at times. I had to learn the hard way I suppose.

One thing to note was that I started out with a small account very meticulous, taking smaller trades with smaller lot sizes, but as soon as I took bigger trades and I saw I was winning, I became a bit irresponsible and ill-disciplined.

Perhaps I had beginner's luck.

dxy is a "volume profile" high value point, so could top out (reverse) here.

I have alerts set around 2365 area.

Nice area for it to dip into with isreal threat of counter attack still in play.

Market will range about until we have a better idea of what the counter attack is


2327 will be bigger lot size buys if it dips in further

MY GOLD TRADE PLAN
as we await the whales to expose their set ups so we join in. Those who love using limit price order can buy Gold on circle 1 & 2 and aim for $2480 or even $2500
But if gold goes below the 200 ema and the buy OB that pushed prices up yesterday then we can see like 1000 pips move to the downside

I try not to trade on Fridays. Its got a tendency to either take your account or trap you in trades which will eventually take your account. Looking at last Fridays range - between +/- 2430 and +/- 2330. True, not all Fridays are the same but not taking any chances.
