Market isnt unpredictable. It just does unpredictable things at times. A strategy conquers that issue. Indicators are 100% useless in almost 2 decades never found a single indicator that was worth its weight. Some people can use them to min results but they are not my thing. A asset that is quiet like bitcoin or gold? These are 2 of the "loudest" if you will. I think you are confused. Patterns are fantastic, dont trade the breakouts, trade the pattern within. Or the retest for the least risk possible. You can use patterns with SR levels for some great results, been averaging 10-15% per month for almost 15 years now. Lastly and most importantly don't follow other traders, you will lose, every single time without your own game plan.

Today's Institutional Liquidity Sweep Zone 2031-2035.For safe trade entry try to catch clean liquidity sweep among one of these levels and enjoy the ride. For me Most probably London and NY Session can be Bearish today and bears can try to chase 2022-23 until 2037 resistance level is holding.I may be wrong So trade safe

checking pa . a possible correction to 2033, 2031.60 to 2029 to restart bull . so now range can be 2036 + to down those levels .watching take care

It is possible that today's PCE report in the USA will cause extreme volatility in the market. PCE removes the unstable prices of food and energy and gives a clearer picture of inflation. I suggest you be careful in trading today.

I think Gold will consolidate at 2025-2030 level before the news and basis the forecast it will show good movement. Yesterday, it did not show any movement whatsoever after GDP.

However, I dont expect a extreme volatility. Yes - the markets are not so strong and worldwide there are indications of recession (which would increase gold prices) - however, the Gold prices are already soo up and I believe it has already taken up the upper margin (all-time high of 2145 was just to liquidate players and did not depict the true position of Gold). Pre-COVID levels were looming below 1900, so, comparing the same to today's condition, I don't expect Gold to remain at this level for long. I personally believe its true place is somewhere just below 2000. We also need to consider that Israel has agreed on ceasefire during Ramadan period (1month) and hence, less tension in Middle east - so that should ease gold prices. However, in the short term, it can play around and move till 2050 - 2072 level.

There are just so many factors deriving Gold price movement, so always be mindful.

Food for thought

We should also consider the rise of Crypto market (especially BTC) in recent times, as the same also shows the market confidence in a commodity other than USD and Gold, hence, this should also impact some way or another on the extreme volatility in Gold during any crisis/major event.

I know Gold has been the safe heaven during any calamity/recession/etc. since forever - but if there is any other alternative on rise (like BTC) - whats the future ????

Bit will never replace gold and if i had to bet on it I would sell it with everything I had until the 32 level. But this isnt the forum for that. Cheers.

You misunderstand what I mean by quiet. I meant compared to trading currency. Nothing much driving the prices of gold around as opposed to eurusd.
I trade breakouts actually. That's my working strategy. A strategy that conquers like you said. Its just how its done that matters.
What I'm trying to say is most traders get lost in the indicator game. And its mostly a waste of time. For news trading i haven't found a 100 percent strategy yet.
I always go over what i know after gaining knowledge for a while. Just back tested pre-news trading again. Still not satisfied.

I took a hint from your playbook. I'm currently trying to apply it to the majors. I'm up 1 percent today.
