Looks like the overbought and oversold zones are well respected. Could you please post GA and EA charts using your template?

{quote} Why did you not reply to the rest of my post, where I simply asked how you would trade MML ? I think I may not be the only one that does not like to watch long videos, especially by brokers that do not get to the point quickly for my liking. ICT videos are a classic example, I have to get interested in what the presenter has to get to the point in the first 15 minutes, otherwise I am turned off. Usually these guys are interested in holding your attention to sell a course at the end of the video. As TT & others have asked you politely, to...

Seems I need to apologize again
If you look we seem to have both posted at the same time , mine going on to the next page , hence hiding yours
Yes you are correct with your assumptions how I trade MML
Picking up on a trend or indeed looking to reversing a Trend
All at certain levels
I never want to insulted anyone's trading intelligence with to much (how to) on a chart
I think at a reasonable level of trading our eyes should see things clearly
Yes it was a big disappointment to me with you view on the video but it does seem some guys have quickly got the drift of MM

Here we Go, for anyone that is interested, Blow by Blow account of How to use MML :

I am not endorsing the author, website or strategy, this is purely for information purposes, or am I insulting anyones intelligence :

Murrey trading is based on the following principles:

  1. Natural geometry and numerology are used to identify patterns and cycles in the market.

  1. Eight horizontal lines are used to represent key support and resistance levels in a trading range.

  1. These levels are derived from the price range of the previous trading period and are projected into the future.
  2. The even-numbered levels and mid-levels are considered key levels that can act as support or resistance for price action.
  3. Trading zones are identified by monitoring price action around the Murrey Math levels and other technical indicators.
  4. The Murrey Math trading system is used as a guide rather than a precise prediction and should be used in conjunction with other technical analysis tools and market fundamentals.
  5. Traders can potentially identify profitable trading opportunities and determine entry and exit points for their trades by using the Murrey Math trading system in combination with other tools.

Week started excellent,,,,,then
Weds was in the toilet all losses with one good one that wiped out Mon Tues gains.... and piss poor executions and mgmt of trades ,,i
f there was an error to be made I made it lol..
Thurs came back just over scratch for the day but that was fine..
Today back on my game with some heavier shorts in Oil and Dow.
Back in positive for the week both the account and my psychological account...

Fed all the backyard critters and now a really big raccoon showed up chowing down on my generous dowsing of peanuts.
3 crows screeching at the Raccoon....Hummingbird at the window looking in on me lol... bunch of Stellar jays swooping around
Like a bloody zoo out there. And all the squirrels in hiding from this big bugger of a raccoon..

At least the squirrels and birds take the peanuts away generally,,,,this guy is just making a mess hahaha...

Complicated life in Blues backyard.... Sorry got off track there !

Surely the problem with this Murrey stuff is (as TT has often said too) the same as any other system based on horizontal lines....what to DO at the LINES. You can either play the percentages/probabilities games or you can zoom down fractally and play the change-in-market-structure game.
Also, dividing a previous trading range/period into 8..can that really be as accurate or as useful as ACTUAL previous data points...eg, PDL, PDH, DO, WO etc?
I'm not knocking folk that use Murrey and can profit from it...there truly is no one way to trade.. I guess it can become more accurate when you drill down inside ranges of the large ranges, but my point would be...we can already see the history of the price chart, where it turned or broke through...why do we need to create another artificial layer on top UNLESS it's results are FAR superior?

Very Good Points DM, Hopefully OAP Dave can answer.

Also if you are using your own settings, wouldn't that show different levels for each trader, unlike Daily Pivots which would be exactly the same ?

Yes good point, I forgot to comment on the adjustable settings. Then you start crossing into curve-fitting..and placing placing lines which looked good in hindsight

Be careful they don't bite your Nuts..........LOL

This is what happens when the market lulls you into a false sense of security, you have good days and you can do no wrong,

that's when you need to think about traps.

They want some of that money back, so on wednesday, you gave them a few bucks back on that day.
