TFT founder claims that a licensing fee is paid by a 3rd-party prop firm on the trading data that TFT provides, which is matched by the profits that TFT traders are able to produce, allowing full sustainability.

Which means they probably use the data of good traders and make more then they pay them.

Thats a clear and obvious lie. If it was true they wouldn't be using fxchoice and nashmarkets. They would be using thefundedtraderprogram platform and be delivering the data via the platform not by some magic out of space cloud machine.

Also, they dont have slippage ... No one is going to pay for that.

99 percent must have lost their account in the last 7 days, but I am sure no one willl come up to say it. this is where this prop funds make money, now these people will again take the so-called challenge to get million-dollar account.

Not I sir... but yes 95-98% of people will lose their account before getting a payout or refund. Most of it is psychology reasons... Like someone who thinks that being a commercial member of forexfactory is an honest living.

Considering the current climate since Jessica Talent shat their pants, it's gonna be hard to take any of these "trust me bro" revelations seriously.
All the prop firms know their existing and potential client base need assurances, no matter how flimsy.

Hell, Traders Central recently put up this ground breaking, "Never before seen" complex chart explaining how they make money -

-Yes. I personally use (2) risk-management EA's, so I spoke with Blake directly about this, but he didn't seem interested in even allowing EA's for risk-management. He claims that a few bad apples have ruined it for the rest. I said, then why not do what some other firms are doing, and just allow risk-management EA's that have to be submitted and approved by your team first. He hasn't responded.

-Well, that should go without saying. I would expect any prop firm to piggyback off of the best traders so that they can maximize their profits. Nothing wrong with it unless you start to experience extreme slippage on all of your trades.

-I was hoping that you would respond, as you seem to have more technical knowledge about these things. I personally question what they are claiming, as it just doesn't make much sense to me. That said, I do believe that they are working on getting their own platform...assuming I am not confusing them with a different firm.

I have tried making suggestions, both, directly to Blake and via their discord suggestion channel, and I only get canned responses that are irrelevant and nonsensical, or, I am treated like an outsider where I get ganged-up on and told to go trade with xyz firm if I want this or that feature.

This seems like a common theme across many firms, actually. Instead of actually listening to my reasoning, it is just immediate resistance and rejection with no apparent thought-involvement, even when my suggestions are coupled with sound logic and reasoning that could actually make things better.

Naysayers will say things like, if you don't like it, then leave. It is really idiotic, sheepish behavior. How crazy is it to want to advocate for positive change? Just because I make suggestions does not mean that I do not recognize the great opportunity that is available to me as a trader, nor does it mean that I am not incredibly thankful and grateful etc..

If nothing is said, then we can expect that nothing will change. But guess what, if it weren't for out-of-the-box thinking and a willful desire to offer something better, then we wouldn't have so many unique and amazing offerings to choose from, and there would be little incentive for firms to be competitive with their offerings.

All of that being said, I am not against TFT or anything like that. If a firm is not interested in offering something different or better etc., then that is their prerogative and I will respect that. Just do not treat me like an idiot or be dismissive and defensive because it is really unnecessary and unprofessional in my opinion. Not to mention, it sets a really bad example to all of the wanna-be-trader-kids that flood your discord and other social media. /rant

In principle I agree with your opinion and understand how you feel being treated like an idiot. I felt the same when you were responding to my posts in another thread calling me a troll just because I dared to express a different opinion to yours.

Based on you other posts you seem to be an intelligent and knowledgeable person (and I mean it despite my bad initial experience with you). It just seems the wording you use in your posts somehow makes people feel you're arrogant, overconfident, and unwilling to consider some else's view instead. Thus they start ignoring you or treating in a way you dislike.

The canned responses are because the people behind the company dont know what they are doing. I have accounts with them, but its a joke for me. "NEW BROKER" and its some piece of hot garbage.

And maybe I am wrong to hold this opinion about suggestions, but I fail to see what good purpose it serves to challenge someone's suggestions that are meant to serve a positive purpose and are only intended for consideration, not debate.

Even if someone suggested something silly, such as offering free challenges, who am I to say anything about it? And maybe the idea isn't actually silly at all. I think, it is not my place to comment because it would be up to FTMO (or whatever firm) to decide, and, because people should be able to freely share their suggestions without having to defend those ideas or make an argument about it. That is all.

Anyway, that is why I responded the way that I did, because I felt that it was unnecessary and inappropriate, and it felt frustrating, given the nature and intent of my post. I love a good debate as much as the next person, especially if I can learn something new.

-I am genuinely sorry. I cannot help how people feel about me. I am not a social type person, admittedly. I am willing to consider all views and opinions, but when people go out of their way to be purposefully provocative (not referring to you), it becomes more difficult to remain reasonable. This is especially true when I am sleep-deprived and already irritable. Also, some posts towards me have been far worse here, but no one seems to call them out on their behavior. Just saying.

As far as sounding overconfident or arrogant, that may be the case sometimes. But when someone says something ignorant to me, especially while being condescending towards me and trying to make me look like a fool or something else that I am not, then I will sometimes call them out on their nonsense. In doing so, I can sometimes sound like a real tool. But that is the price of sinking to that level.

I can tell you this, I spend a great deal of time doing research, educating myself, trying to help others and promote positive change, all while trying to run my businesses. I am incredibly grateful and thankful for the opportunities that I have as well as being able to share my ideas with others that share the same interests as I do. But I am human at the end of the day, and when I am constantly dealing with negativity and ignorance on a regular basis, it can sometimes be difficult to behave in a way that I would prefer. I am 40 years old, so maybe that also carries over into my poor personality traits.

I do not have any harsh feelings towards you, or Koop, or anyone else here. There are much bigger things to worry about.

Thank you for being open and honest. I indeed appreciate it. I'm 48 and I understand a lot of what you've described, I can even say we have a lot of in common actually.

In truth, I fully expect FTMO to outright reject my suggestions. But, I have to try at least. I proposed the same things to Blake at TFT and also to a number of other firms that I cannot even remember at this point.
