Alpha is not allowing any longer swing trades to be closed during news (before they allowed if the trade was running for some hours - can't remember how many).
These guys keep changing rules silently hoping to catch people and decrease or deny their payouts.
It seems they are going back to their crook nature that we knew from them 2 years ago when they got involved with TCF.

Regarding alphacapital, they might getting fishier, but they are much better than alternatives atm

Too fast volatility changes it was hard for me to adapt too. Took some losses. I usually perform better in RTH.

Now we get Alpha everyday in shady moves. This time a payout was denied for a trade in XAUUSD during EUR news. This was not forbidden in FAQs and they recognize that FAQs will be updated. However the payout was denied anyway.

Alpha is coming to futures in mid June.
Takisd what's this ACG Markets ? Is that a broker ? I would not trust this guys not even 10€ of my money as a real broker.

That was an easy forecast that was done here some months ago. No doubt that all these artists will come to futures space, then they will fight for a slice of the (big) cake with unrealistic conditions (much better than actual ones) and then the payouts denials will start.

It's just a sequel of the forex prop movie that we already saw.

Yes it is a broker.

The problem these guys dont realize is that going prop to broker is way harder than broker to prop. There are some brokers with SEO/Marketing setups with 20 years of age which google will forever give priority to. You are playing with sharks, even FTMO i think will struggle a lot with the brokerage side unless its a regulatory smoke screen.

nobody would want a start like this in live funded account
down by 5.5% in just 2 days and in 3 trades
feels like I am thrown back to phase1
now had to make 123% in reality just to breakeven
or 12% in prop firm sense just to breakeven
forget about the payout
nobody, not even I know that
how much time & how many trades
it will take now to breakeven

Sorry to be blunt, but you need to step away from trading for a bit. Every post you make exemplifies the exact opposite mindset you need to be successful.

but anyone in this forum told you to be wise and take a job and learn trading first and stop trading.
you win then for sure, you dont lose your time and have much more money by work and save the negative feelings what bring you even more down.

this is real trading, trading your time against most value for you at the moment. because anyone is different the ways to go are different.

still you can work on this:
- why you dont want to work
- why you can resist hints coming from others about your situation
- why you like to torture yourself to go most difficult way with most luck needed and so get with very high chance not happy

if you work on this, this will help your trading like crazy. maybe you will not understand now what i talk about with this, but you will some day.even if you dont understand the reasons (you can ask for anything you dont understand) , you just need to start now go an other more easy path and rebuild yourself first. you will not become mental better when you succeed in trading , you need to be mental good to succeed in trading. so at the moment you search for something that you cant reach and get deeper and deeper down so - you can always stop this and just do a different way (like take a job,...).

when you picture your situation, you sit in the moment in a hole and want come out, but you dig down.

I have eliminated mindset part of trading.
I don't think now. I just do what my system says to do.
I lost back to back trades according to my system. Its not my mistake. Its not that I have done something wrong.
I did the same what I did for passing phase1 and phase2
If I lost, I lost, if I win, I win. That's it.
Now I don't think when doing trading, I have already done with the thinking part.

The only thing went wrong with me here is I lost 80 $ more than the pre-defined loss of 190 $ in 3 trades.
If my system worked, I will come out of this drawdown, but I don't know when
I just need to follow my system, now I have nothing to blame

I need 1,000 $ payout from this 5k mini live funded account
to buy 2 of 50k challenges this year
that's my only hope, because I can't live on 5k challenge accounts

we must bring back professionals (or at least, professionalism) to industry, right now!
ftmo does not provide service to my country, sad.

where are people with integrity, knows how to manage this business, i do not know.
