It wasn't cftc pressure. It was due to a few information requests and a case that metaquotes are in in the US that holds them liable for scams on US citizens.

Same here. I even ditched my off-shore trading accounts. Withdrew back to Kraken. Now just transferred to my bank. I feel like US customers on borrowed time with these mt5/mt4 off-shore FX/CD/commodities/etc. brokers

Similar to you, I got my Ninjatrader with Tradovate up and running and every day. Relaxed and simple, not looking "over my shoulder" for rug-pulls and Scamgelos, so to speak. EDIT: not yet, anyway...

Migration should have happened during weekend but seems that something is wrong. I could not login to Blue MT5 today and their Discord is on fire with people creaming about pending SLs and TPs order. We never get bored in the props circus. Everyday something happens.

-Still going back and forth with Apex trying to get clarification on this. As of now, they have stated in their own words that professional status is defined per the terms of each data provider, and that the following is a brief overview of those requirements:

1. You do not hold any SEC or FINRA certificates.
2. You do not have prior relationship with an exchange.
3. You do not manage outside money.

That said, when asked about what sort of proof will be required to dis-prove professional status, or if it is simply agreeing/acknowledging that fact upon signup, I have still yet to receive an answer on that.

On the one hand, I do not want to sign up with Apex as a business, only to be charged extra exchange fees each month. However, I do want to be able to have all payments sent to my business account for tax purposes. They tell me that they can only send money to my business account if I sign up as a business, and that accounts cannot be changed.

Will share more if/when I am able.

So I got 1,5 days with MT5 at FTUK. Sudently stopped. And I received this message:

Due to an unforeseen issue with our recently partnered broker, we are unable to continue operations with them immediately. Without prior warning, our broker has cut access to all accounts due to a legal threat from MetaQuotes. As a result, we have swiftly integrated our new platform, MatchTrade, and will be migrating all our traders over to it this weekend. Additionally, we are in the final stages of integrating DXTrade, which will also be available soon.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and want to assure you that we are diligently working to support our traders during this transition. Further updates will be provided to you over the course of this weekend.

-I am not sure. I did not specifically ask that question. Typically, business accounts are treated differently. Perhaps they would allow a bank change if it was business-to-business or personal-to-personal.

In a weird way, I'm glad 95% of the firms banned the US, I would be going insane dealing with everything I read about here now on a daily basis.
