Bitcoin (BTCUSD)

Pretty pissed off at myself to be honest. Navigated this range fairly well, always room for improvement, but made some money.

Noticed how bitcoin recovered very quickly after news of USA attack on Iran, and even went long in quick time. Told myself that was probably the bottom. Saw the strength of the bull moves, but for some reason at last point went bearish (though I was at least aware enough to know that if I was wrong to get out and reverse...my saving grace).

Hindsight is always 20/20 but just annoyed I didnt see this as clear as I do now.

My 2 mottos are "theres always room for improvement" and "its never fucking easy".

On the daily chart PA hit the 50EMA (Bearish Setup) but if the price continues above the 50 EMA we could see a rally to 83k ~ 84k...

Given the non-farm payrolls come out tomorrow, I wouldn't be surprised (actually kind of expecting this) to see something like this.

Might give a fake pump after numbers come out then a steep drop to take out the trendlines below.

I just took profits from long. Things not looking right, and not willing to give back any more profit. The break out of range might have been a fake.

I dont see this trendline holding again, and it really wouldn't even be coming this close if it was heading higher in my opinion.

Target at 59k seems good atm, will let it ride for now.

The move started out slow and weak looking, which is one of the things that had me fooled. I think momentum should start picking up, if it doesn't I might exit and go touch grass.

Target at 59k is nice, but 53500 is nicer. Thats where the 1.5 extension of this range (plus the fake breakout...if thats what it turns out to be) is.

I like to leave a little meat on the bone though, so 55k is solid target I think. When I try to squeeze every last ounce of profit out of a move it usually bites me in the ass, so I see where I think it will go and take a little less

After retracing from 68-69k to 63k where it found support and went up to 74k...BTC trying to turn 68-69k from previous resistance to support by defending the psychological level 70k...a failure can take our focus back to 60k

It will be bounce from now at 70k towards 78k. Strong buy ....

So far, so good... bitcoin continues to confirm that the breakout was a fake out. Bulls trying to put a stop to this at the last logical area where it would reverse in my opinion, but the buying looks weak is is immediately met with equal selling.

There's less than 4 hours left before US markets close. As long as price keeps being suppressed, the more likelihood of stronger selling going into close. I wouldn't want to be long going into the weekend if the session ends with continued weakness. Liquidity will be very thin and easy to manipulate. Could be yet another big gap down on CME Bitcoin futures come Sunday opening.

Watching closely (as always) because you never know and its NFE (never fucking easy). Got a decent profit already, but that alone is not a good reason to exit a trade. Especially when there is so much more for the taking if I'm right.

Just closed out short for nice profit. Bulls still have a chance here and I need to spend some time with my wife. Gotta take a break from the charts. If i miss a big trade so be it. Had a decent week and im happy with it

I like it. Super tight stop loss and it might actually work out. If its going to turn, should probably happen from right about here.
