Bounty_Two replied May 14, 2007The answer is no. You'd still have to pay commissions and / or slippage. Problem is that most traders have trouble doing what their system tells them in the first way, so they wouldn't be able to do the exact opposite either.

Bounty_Two replied Nov 20, 2006Well I think I can already answer my own question: Using a 30 pip trailing stop from the beginning would indeed signifcantly reduce profitability. Especially those trades which hit T4 by the original rules would have been stopped out early.
