I was lead to believe that the alpariUk was an ECN not a market maker. They did not trade against their clients. Am I missing something?

Historically, the first 3-4 months of the year have never been kind to $. Could be number of reasons bad weather, global slowdown, recession. It would be wise to expect rate hike in the 2nd or 3rd quarter, if at all.

I do not think the rates will rise until the feds see some stability or atleast stop in deterioration in the other world economies. Sooner or later this global slowdown will impact the us economy.
