hendrix replied Sep 14, 2008Hi Someone, I'm using MBT as my broker and they don't offer any usable charts. (but beside that, they're great!) That is why I use InterbankFX's demo of MT4 for charting and it works just fine.

hendrix replied Sep 8, 2008Thanks guys, everything seems to work fine now. I did not register my MT4 copies before and I was able to see only limited number of symbols. Thanks again, your help is much appreciated!

hendrix replied Sep 7, 2008Hi Iron-man, thank you so much for this post, it is very informative, since I've never really studied correlations between commodities, indexes and currencies. (although, if I remember right, BabyPips School covers some of this topic - I'll have to ...

hendrix replied Sep 6, 2008Thanks for the tip! I'll have to try that on Monday at my work, since my home computer is currently not available. I'll let you know if it works.

hendrix replied Sep 5, 2008I installed MT4 from Forex Ltd., but I can't find the US Dollar Index symbol. Could you please help me with that?
Which MT4 platform has these charts?
-
hendrix replied Sep 5, 2008Thanks for your replies! That was helpful. I've also found out, that StockCharts.com has everything I need, but only with End Of Day data. I guess that should be fine too, since I'll be looking only at Daily charts.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to find a MetaTrader 4 platform with charts of Crude Oil, Gold, S&P ...

hendrix replied Sep 4, 2008Agaden and Fxorce, thanks for your replies. I think I will limit myself to 6 currency pairs (and to "no brainer trades" ONLY) and I will watch Oil, Gold and S&P mini futures. I still have some stuff to work over and then I'll come with another ...
No Brainer Trades
-
hendrix replied Sep 4, 2008Hi guys, May I ask, how many of you are using Oil, Gold, US Dollar Index and SPX charts to help with your trading? I know that BillyRay watches them, as he made that clear, but I fear of being too much undecided, if I start to watch too many charts! ...

hendrix replied Aug 27, 2008I can't tell you in numbers, because I keep A.H. trades as comments in the "A.H. Trigger Level" column. But generally speaking, as I said before, 50 pip TSL A.H. trade has less work to do than a 100 pip TSL A.H. trade, and my trades with the smaller ...

hendrix replied Aug 27, 2008True, but I suppose, that the A.H. has less work to do when recovering the loss. Here is a screen shot of all the "what if" scenarios (based on my trades) of 50 pip TSL's and 100 pip TSL's. It starts on May and ends in August. (I won't take any more ...
Jacko's Forex House of Pleasure and Pain
-
hendrix replied Aug 27, 2008Well, I combine 50 pip TSL and manual stops. A.H. also tends to work better with 50 pip TSL - even in these market conditions. I also like the fact, that with 50 pip TSL, you can get more easily 1:1,5 or 1:2 risk/reward ratio trades. Anyway, all ...

hendrix replied Aug 27, 2008Is anyone still using 50 pip TSL or are you all on the 100 pip TSL version? I'm asking this, because as far as my personal trading is concerned, 50 pip TSL is still working very fine. I always log my trades with "manual exit", "50 pip TSL exit" and ...

hendrix replied Aug 24, 2008Whatever you do, don't try to complicate things too much. Read this post from fijitrader. I used to think, that Van K. Tharp's book called Trade Your Way to Financial Freedom was The Holy Grail about MM, but it turned out, that the only useful thing ...

hendrix replied Aug 23, 2008Btw, abducted, sorry for teasing you, but it would be much more easier to read your posts, if you'd use "normal" English instead of "leet" language.

Jacko's Forex House of Pleasure and Pain

hendrix replied Aug 23, 2008Thanks for sharing your views and Fx_Genius, thanks for posting the link to the original story. Our news agency seriously misinterpreted the article and partially "blamed" Mr. Buffett's quotes for the Friday's USD strengthening.

hendrix replied Aug 23, 2008@Fx_Genius: LOL =) That was cool. Btw, does any of you consider to go long at 1.4750? It seems like a nice opportunity, but I have a feeling, that the current (medium term) sentiment about USD is mostly bullish among professional fund managers... ...
