bae67 replied Aug 31, 2017This is a long weekend in the US, it is Labor Day Weekend which extends into Monday. People actually go to work on Sep. 5. I am not sure how that will affect your monthly opening baskets.

bae67 replied Aug 31, 2017The problem may be that you have loaded xm7 EA as well. That is not needed.

bae67 replied Aug 31, 2017I love the moving yellow light. Is that for the look or to tell us that the EA is working?

bae67 replied Aug 31, 2017Almost all my short term (mainly 1H) trades close with 50+ pips,; I have had very few losers. But at the same time I see alot of monthly and weekly trades (not mine) are yoyoing up and down. That was something that made me think if the market is no ...

bae67 replied Aug 31, 2017Sorry, what I was trying to say (and I was not clear) is that maybe the market is no longer trending and is ranging that's why many monthly and weekly basket are failing. In a ranging market you cannot trade long timeframes. You can, however, trade ...

bae67 replied Aug 31, 2017It is the other way around. It is form the basket that you get your offline chart. You can use the search function in F2F and learn all you want about basket trading.

bae67 replied Aug 31, 2017I am running many different settings. Soon I will be running 1200 basket (36x36) for a month to find out. There is no particular setting right now. Once done, I will share my findings with the group.

bae67 replied Aug 30, 2017Once you get a hang of it, you will see how useful it is. This is an offline chart with and without my favorite indicator.

bae67 replied Aug 30, 2017In real life on live account, you should only have one indicator per basket. In demo, when I use it with multiple indicators, I try to choose the indicator that is the best representation of the whole basket. That is not accurate at all.

bae67 replied Aug 30, 2017The gains and the DD are almost the same. Just like flipping a coin, very interesting. A sign of market moving sideways?

bae67 replied Aug 30, 2017I don't see anything wrong. It looks to me like a Japanese candle chart. Why don't you apply this template to your chart and see if it look OK.

bae67 replied Aug 30, 2017You are basically right, but there is much more to it. This short writeup was about how to get the offline chart working. Interpretation of the offline chart is an entirely different animal. If time permits, I will do another writeup about that ...

bae67 replied Aug 30, 2017There have been a number of PMs asking for help with the offline chart writer. Instead of answering them individually, I thought a simple guide (with mistakes of course) should be nice. If there are any mistakes, please let me know and I will ...

bae67 replied Aug 30, 2017That is very true, some may find it too much sounding like a bumper sticker but it is not. In every FX trade there are two sides. If we lose in a "bad day" someone else is winning and for that person it is a "good day." So far, we have done a lot to ...

bae67 replied Aug 30, 2017Surprisingly, this very same thing happened to me on Monday at LO. At the time i looked at the expert tab and saw what you saw so i thought the basket was not opened, plus the EA light stayed blue and never turned red. However, one thing I noticed ...

bae67 replied Aug 30, 2017Nice comparison. Call me crazy, but I like the lower pips for their low DD. It may not sound logical, but I fell safer with lower DD even if it means lower reward.

bae67 replied Aug 29, 20171. "When to open a basket" is very personal and entirely depends on your favorite indicator that you will apply to the offline chart. My favorite indicator is "Ichimoku Kinko Hyo." It has served me well in the past. 2. I have just started to test ...
