d5400 replied Oct 12, 2022Actually 14.4% win and 7.2% loss don't actually cancel each other out, because 1.144*0.928=1.06, that's still 6% gain, so without any losers, you would need 51 wins straight, but with losers, net winner requirement reduces the more trades you have. ...

d5400 replied Oct 12, 2022That is obviously up to each trader's ability, but at 1:2 RR net winners are easily calculated: it's total winners minus total losers. So if you risk 7.2% then the question is: how many net 14.4% winners are needed for 1000X? It's about 50. Like 150 ...

d5400 replied Oct 12, 2022Risking 7.2%, 14.4% target for my account was $12500*0.03*0.144=$54. It has been reached and exceeded in 6 trades. Next stage is risking 14.4%, targeting 28.8%, which is now $12574*0.03*0.288=$108.

d5400 replied Oct 11, 2022I know they tell you to bet more when you're on a roll, not me. I'll bet more when I'm on a roll after a losing trade. That'll keep me sober. So percentage wise, I can increase my risk by 7.2% already. But I feel invincible right now, so I'll wait ...

d5400 replied Oct 11, 2022Fourth trade. Entry a bit lower than the open, because it's the second exit and pretty sure it would go through the open. I took partials, now it's a free trade. I target the gap. image

d5400 replied Oct 11, 2022Third trade. Not exactly by the rules. Used limit order, because first wave didn't travel quite far enough. Half at 8+, stop at BE. image

d5400 replied Oct 11, 2022My second trade by the rules. Botched the entry, though, I guess didn't pay attention. Took off half at +6, stopped out at BE. image

d5400 replied Oct 11, 2022That's a good point. I wasn't scared because I hoped for momentum after the entry, but instead I got hesitation. But then, I should have realized that when trade went into positive again, the momentum was building up. That should have kept me in.

d5400 replied Oct 11, 2022My first trade by the rules on the chosen pair this week. The entry was actually the second that hour, I missed first one because the close didn't look convincingly above the open. I didn't hold the trade till BE+5 and exited early. That's a shame. ...
