Oanda will let you trade spot gold with minimum contract size of 1$. For every dollar gold moves, your PL moves by the same amount. Though they also have silver, which quotes pips to the fourth decimal place, but moves in 1 cent increments, so a 1 ...

LOL....My feed is free. Only prints EOD and the day hadn't closed yet. Now showing 77.86 with nice bullish rejection. One day.....when I'm a trader.....I'll have a real feed......

Edit: You could fiddle that SR down to 77.50 and it would look more like a break-retest.....possible continuation. Hard to judge.

Stocks and gold have been mostly-positively correlated for most of the year, and the dollar vs gold and equities mostly-negatively correlated (-0.5). But if there is a true pattern (the kind you can exploit) it won't last forever, nothing does.

The thing about timeframes is, you have to experiment with them to find out which one's you're most comfortable with, and which one's you're the most profitable with, and they may not be the same. I do like the fact that you used the word "reliable" ...

I use fxpro and oanda for gold and silver, and freestockcharts.com for the dixie (DXY0). It only prints dxy bars at the end of the day though.
