You can't trust info from media ,sky just said the death rate in Italy was 2% .Thats what it is if you divide deaths by
infections but that formula is wrong
in Italy on current data its approx 3-5% death rate.
I also know thats a small pool of data too early to say.

I can't be the only one who laughs when Sky bring on the charts to explain it.

Italy 2036 case 52 death =2.5%not possible to be 2% on current numbers.
The variables are how long it takes to kill and how many infections they're actually are.
Divide death by number of infections say 7 days ago thats when people got infected who later died.

Theres time delay ,on statistics.

no they won't be, common flu is high in the lungs ,this is low you don't get flu symptoms

tests are only 70% sensitive ,they're not as accurate as you think ,lots of story about false negative tests.
But they also use ct scan see where it is.I don't think media -if anything I find it balanced after researching.
It's how far countries go, to draw conclusions from.

I don't even read the media beyond headlines.

They're well into the delay phase despite any headline ,there be surprise some people how far they're go to contain it.
I fully expect to see lock-down of cities ,even in the US.
Trump dropped in how un-serious it was last week ,like compare to flu without actually saying it.
Playing a dangerous game ,cause US isn't safe/isolated no one can stop it.

President of the United States shouldn't be dropping miss information like that in an attempt to calm the situ...
thats what cause confusion.

it's true, but when infections was at 4,000 in china. death rate at one point was 50%... now is about 3.9%. Hopkins site took off data for death rates though..or its down as I write this.

It seems like you did a bit of research on this. I was reading some of the virology studies on SARS like virus strains..just because. That's as far as I went. General public sentiment is distrustful of Chinese gov't (if you believe the news) and I don't blame them. Lacking evidence and just looking at the general play on how this spread. They say fish market, I say the lab coat of someone leaving the virology center...

To me it just looked like someone fucked up.. not trying to be all smoke and mirror illuminati flat earth etc etc, just... its ground zero...
