2020 Basketball HOF Commemorative Coin Design Candidates

The United States Mint unveiled proposed designs for upcoming dome-shaped Basketball Hall of Fame Commemorative Coins. As directed by Public Law No: 115-343, the U.S. Mint in 2020 will issue $5 gold coins, silver dollars and clad half dollars in recognition of the 60th anniversary of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. The program of commemorative coins will share designs with their reverses (tails side) depicting a basketball and their obverses (heads side) emblematic of the game of basketball.
