What benefit for Iran to do this?? Saudi+Israel and apparently USA force Iran to go for negotiation and after sanction of oil, metal, petroleum , ... they don't have any real force leverage. Thus, this kind of attacks are just fake. Everyone knows Iran is not stupid to do these kind of attacks around its country.

The previous attacks on oil tankers , Yemen said they did it to draw attention to their wars. In response Saudi and allies increased bombing them with USA bombs. I didnt see them talkin about it above

Nobody here seems to understand why Iran would do this. How about that Iran hopes this will get the US to back off its sanctions? Otherwise people want Mike Pompeo to reveal US military secrets to explain how he knows that Iran was responsible. Iran's leaders would be delighted to have such information. Or course Iran will deny being responsible. After all, Iranian troops in Syria and iranian support for Hezbollah and Assad are for "Defensive purposes" only.
