Each member of their first-team squad have been gifted a £3,500 iPhone X thanks to iDesign Gold following their victory against English rivals Tottenham. The customised phones have each player's squad number on the back along with the name to replicate the back of their shirts. That's insanely expensive. iPhone X would be around £700 while the gold plated cover for £2800? I would have got actual gold cover (which has re-sale value) made, not just a gold plated cover which would be useless in a couple of years with no resale value.

Gold is pretty conductive for electricity and has a strong resistance to corrosion. Maybe Apple’s next chargers, accessories etc will all be gold so they can force us to spend more money. Meanwhile android will use copper and try to compete and somehow lose 😂
