Rio Tinto builds Winu copper momentum with long-awaited drill results

Rio Tinto has released details of encouraging intercepts at the Winu copper-gold discovery in the Paterson province, Western Australia. The results include figures for 11 diamond drill holes that were not previously available, in addition to previously reported results for exploration drilling to the end of 2018. Rio Tinto stated that its exploration continued to indicate relatively wide intersections of vein style copper mineralisation associated with gold and silver beneath relatively shallow cover, which ranges from 50 to 100 metres. “The mineralisation remains open at depth and to the east, north and south,” ...
