In an interview with CNBC, Chicago Fed President Charles Evans said that the U.S. economy was doing well and noted that inflation was getting close to the Fed's 2% target. • Fundamentals for economy continue to be solid. • Uncertainty may be impacting business investment. • Comfortable with policy now but worried about inflation levels. • Would be more aggressive than most in defending 2% inflation target.

seems to me they will keep $ high and higher for when they are gonna have a rate cut ( maybe september ), I'm not sure bt i think $ comes back nearly 9803 after powell' speech
