The global macro world was infected with another skirmish in what has become another open-ended WMD goose chase war in the Middle East and that makes trading a bit more complicated. My advice to myself this week was to ignore the war headlines and simply trade whatever views I would have if that war were not ongoing. There is a good chance the war will still be happening in 2027, and you cannot sit paralyzed by random $3 moves up and down in crude oil.
