need to just survey the people of Iran for once what kind of regime they want among the different models available and start from there. For some cultures, no matter if occidental or middle east not an easy task. What the US has tried in the region is nothing different than that but there's still ages of distance in the negotiation table. Pity.

Already was done. Democracy with a president elected every 4 years in a fair and free election. There was one such election after the revolution and people chose a candidate by a majority and the islamists were defeated. Then elements of the current regime ran him out of the country and took over. No real election since then. So the Iranian people have already answered your question.

There still have elections where very suspicious elections happened people rioted and so much more and the person still took oath and completed his 4 years but you to point out that specific person who tried to remove thier 1400 years judicial system pretty lame

Iran was not a threat to anyone before the war started. Their proxies too were not a threat and they only acted in their own countries unless poked by other nations. US also has proxies. Now after the war there is no peace in the world.just leave iranians they will chose whichever leader they want
